KH: New Coe Library. It’s so sick, it makes me want to go and study. Good job, UW.

KH: Ha, well if I had to come up with a reason, I would say the people I have met. People here are so nice; my kind of people.

KH: …eat a steak dinner, watch ESPN and get a good night’s sleep.

KH: Shield.

BI: What are your goals for this baseball season?

KH: Win. If you’re not first, you’re last.

BI: What amount of money would it take for you to grow out your hair and put it in pigtails?

KH: It depends how long, but no less than $100,000.  

BI: What is your favorite sport to watch other than baseball?

KH: College football.  

BI: What artist do you have the most of on your iPod?

KH: Mac Dre’s “Yadadamean.” It’s a bay area thing.

BI: What is your television show guilty pleasure?

KH: Those stupid reality shows on VH1. They are dumb but so addicting; they make me feel good about myself.

BI: Who will be the MVP of the American League this season?

KH: [Evan] Longoria.

BI: What was the weirdest assignment of your college career?

KH: There are assignments in college?

BI: What is your best baseball memory?

KH: My parents at my games.  

BI: What is your favorite place you’ve visited outside of the U.S.?

KH: Costa Rica; the time of my life!!!

BI: Which MLB team has the best uniforms?

KH: The Cubs.  

BI: What teammate are you glad you don’t have to face?

KH: My catcher and roommate, Tony Covello. He hit a home run off me in practice, but he knows better than to bring it up.  

BI: What are your plans after graduation?

KH: Haha, I have no idea. Probably go overseas to a Spanish country.

BI: Describe baseball in one word?

KH: Life.
