Cyberpunk 2077, During the NBA finals between Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers, CD Projekt Red shared a new commercial promoting their upcoming project, Cyberpunk 2077. The commercial featured Keanu Reeves, who is supposed to be of key importance. In the game, Reeves is seen as Johnny Silverhand, the main character. However, Reeves isn’t dressed up as his digital counterpart. He appears in a simple suit and asks the viewers to ‘Seize the Day.’
Analyzing the commercial
The 30-second commercial gave the viewers a comparatively wide perspective of the whole game. As mentioned earlier, Keanu Reeves initially appeared in a dashing suit appealing to all the gamers of the criminal lifestyle within the context of the game. Promoting the same, Reeves states that you’re only a criminal in 2077 if you get caught. To build up the excitement, he further reveals that the players can be anyone they wish to, provided their body could pay the price. As the commercial flashed some cinematic scenes from the Night City, Reeves takes the opportunity to motivate the viewers to “seize the day” and “set it on fire”.

Fans can now have Johnny Silverhand on their desk as the latest product in the market is a figurine of Keanu Reeves in his digital form. The collectible costs around $900. It is bound with intricate designs complete with his shades and guitar. Further, it also includes an LCD backdrop equipped with speakers. So, the product is capable of playing music and displaying screensavers from the game. Totally worth it!

Cyberpunk 2077 is an action-packed, adventurous online game set in Night City, a sci-fi metropolis. Here, the mercenaries call themselves ‘cyberpunk’ and equip cybernetic enhancements to their bodies. The player’s main aim is to build their character on the street alongside the hunt for a rare implant that can grant them immortality.
Reportedly, the game will also be getting its own Netflix series called Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The animated series will have ten episodes and showcase the life of a street kid and his attempt to survive in a technology-and-body-modifications-obsessed world.
The game will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on 19th November 2020. It will soon be released on PS5 and the Xbox Series X. Further, the developers announced a surprise offer for the owners of the game on PS4 and Xbox One. They confirmed that this batch is eligible for a free next-gen upgrade of the Cyberpunk 2077 for the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
