As NBA being a national basketball association league in North America has been an amazing one to date. The association, for now, consists of 30 teams and is one of the four major professional sports leagues in the United States and Canada. Recently it has reported that the Dallas Mavericks has not played the national anthem This season. In regard to this NBA Chief Commutations Officer Mike Bass issued a statement on Wednesday. He has reaffirmed the league’s policy. The NBA is now welcoming the fans back into their arenas. This new policy seems to be an amazing change by association this time.

This policy is for that all teams will play the national anthem in keeping with longstanding league policy. In response to this Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has said that they are good with this change in the policy. This reaffirmation seems to be a good chance in the basketball game. Being the national anthem played before the game will bring a sense of patriotism towards the nation.

Cuban confirmation to The Athletic

In response to the mandate by Mavericks, owner Mark Cuban hr gave confirmation to The Athletic. He responded that the national anthem will be played before the Mavericks take on Atlanta on Wednesday night. Even an official statement has been issued which states that the team does and always has respected the passion people have for the anthem and country. This will bring a sense of pride and love, respect towards the homeland. He further added that hoe those individuals need to be respected and heard because they have not been.

Change of their own

Mavericks did not publicize their move. Even some team employees told that they have discovered the change. Even the time when there was a thing that players need to stand during but it is not enforced in recent years. But there have been various such steps taken by the players themselves.
