Tirath Singh Rawat will be the new Chief Minister of Uttrakhand. After four days of intense political problems, Trivendra Singh Rawat tendered his resignation to governor Baby Ranu Maurya. He gave his resignation to the governor at Raj Bhavan in Dehradun on Tuesday afternoon. Later a soon as he resigned the government party has called a meeting which will devise the name of their new CM for the state. Rawat’s resignation was accepted by chief secretary Om Prakash. They have even asked to look after the portfolios held by them till the time a new government is formed.

After the meeting held by the governor. Rawat said he was thankful to the part for giving him a chance to be at the helm for four years. He later thanked the party for this tremendous support in his entire journey. She said that he was just a common man and the BJP party gave chance to him to lead the state as the head. In the favour of the party, he added that the party ha snow decided that it needs a new face and therefore he decided to resign as CM of the state. He even gave good wishes to Tirath Singh Rawat who will be the new CM of the state.

Tirath Singh Rawat will take oath at 4 PM today. He is also a BJP leader. Currently, he is a Lok Sabha member from Pauri parliamentary seat. As of now, the government has started the meeting and it has begun at the party office in Dehradun.

Those who are unaware who is Tirath Singh Rawat. He served as the chief of Uttrakhand BJP. His tenure was from February 2013 to December 2015. He was also a member of the Legislative Assembly from Chaubttakhal. For this, his tenure was from 2012 to 2017. He further elected from the Pauri Lok Sabha seat in the 2019 general elections. Manish Khanduri was his rival whom he beat with a great margin. He won by more than 3.50 lakh votes. This was his remarkable performance in the elections. Now, this path of being a CM will be a new journey for him.
