With Intel launching its 11th Gen Tiger Lake Core CPUs, new or refreshed laptops from the current series have begun to be launched by different brands. With these new processors, Lenovo recently launched its Xiaoxin and Yoga series laptops, and now Acer has also launched new laptops in the Aspire, Swift, and Spin series.
The Acer Swift Series Laptop
The Acer Swift 3x arrives with a thin and light body in the Swift series, weighing just 1.37 kilogrammes. It features a 14-inch FHD IPS display and runs the latest Iris Xe integrated GPU alongside Intel 11th Gen chips. The laptop’s battery is rated with fast charging capabilities for up to 17,5 hours. Along with USB 3.2 Gen 2, and Intel Wi-Fi 6, it also features the Thunderbolt 4 port. The Swift 3X will be available later in December and will start at US$ 499.
The Acer Spin Series Laptops
The company launched both Spin 5 and Spin 3 after moving on to the Spin lineup. The former is a convertible notebook with a 3:2 IPS VertiView display that supports a touchscreen. The Acer Active Stylus with Wacom AES
technology can also be used with it. The laptop can be configured with Iris Xe graphics on an Intel 11th Gen Core i7 processor. The Thunderbolt 4 ports, along with Killer 1650 Wi-Fi and dual front-facing speakers, are also available.
The Spin 3 is the smaller version of the Spin 5 and comes with a multi-touch IPS display of up to WQXGA (2560 ⁇ 1600). It also houses an Intel 11th Gen chip with Iris Xe graphics and comes with a 360 ° hinge design, built with4,096 pressure sensitivity levels in Acer Active Stylus, dual SSDs, Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C port, and also the Killer 1650 Wi-Fi chip. In addition, Spin 3 will be launched later in March, starting at 849 US Dollars.
The Acer Aspire Series Laptop
Finally, the Acer Aspire 5, which comes in a 14-inchversion as well as a 15.6-inchvariant. In addition to the Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU, this laptop also features Intel Tiger Lake processors. The display is a touchscreen-supported FHD IPS panel with memory configurations of up to 24 GB DDR4 RAM and up to 1 TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD and 2 TB HDD storage. It has an ergonomic hinge design which slightly lifts the body and supports Dual Ban Inte Wi-Fi 6.
The Acer Spin 5 will be launched in February 2021 in North America, starting at US$ 999. Finally, both variants of the Acer Aspire 5 will also be available with a starting price of 499 US Dollars from December.
