Finally, the presence of water is confirmed by NASA. The water is seen on the moon’s sunlit surface. This is like a chemical compound which could be able to support life just like the earth. This is distributed throughout the parts of the lunar surface. But the scientists do not know that they could use it as a resource. It could be helpful for humans they have no idea. But the presence of water on the Moon is confirmed. NASA is one of the best space organization in the world. And this time this achievement will not go in vain. They will do research further which will tell about the use of this resource. They will explore the moon more. These water molecules are seen in the Clavius crater. This crater is in the moon’s southern hemisphere. This seems to be good news for further astronauts.

The NASA scientists found billions of cold traps at scales. They said they haven’t seen such cold traps before. There is various evidence on the moon that its surface has water. There are some regions on the moon that have ice due to the absence of sunlight. These cold traps are spread around 40,000 square kilometers. NASA’s scientists have used the SOFIA telescope which has confirmed the presence of water on the moon. Earlier it was considered hydroxyl but now it is confirmed. This telescope was mounted on a plane. Later it found that it was water.

Stability of the water found on the surface

The scientists said that they have found the water but there is no confirmation about the stability of the water. It could suit the humans of the earth. It might be possible it will not be useful for us. There is clarity about the stability. But if this water will turn to be useful it will be great research by the scientists. We all know the importance of water and how it is vanishing from the earth. It is central to human life. Also, the scientists will research that they could utilize it with life on the Earth.
